- Counsels employees on health and wellness.
- Works with employers to ensure compliance with regulations for workplace safety.
- Works with employers to develop and provide innovative and business-compatible health and safety programs in work environments.
- Two year RN degree with 3 years experience having worked in the Occupational Health or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree and Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse preferred.
- Three years previous experience in medical, emergency, surgical, pediatric or occupational health nursing required.
- Duties require intensive knowledge of a highly specialized field and broad knowledge of major Occupational Health functions or activities.
- Must be competent in phlebotomy skills.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota.
- Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within one month of employment.
- Certifications in the following required: Breath Alcohol Technician, Drug Screen Collections within one month of employment.
- CAOHC, Spirometry, and ergonomic certifications may be required within one year of employment.
- Varied Shifts: 8:00am-4:30pm, and 9:00am-4:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Every fourth weekend
- Occasional holidays
