    Financial Analyst Job Description

    Summary:

    We are seeking a Financial Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our team at Interior Logic Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and guidance. This position entails analyzing and interpreting financial data, developing robust financial models, and offering strategic support to facilitate decision-making.

    Essential Functions:

    • Develop and maintain intricate financial models to bolster business forecasting and planning processes.
    • Analyze and interpret data, financial statements, and key performance indicators.
    • Provide substantial support for business decision-making by evaluating financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to spearhead operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects as needed.
    • Develop and maintain financial reporting tools to enhance visibility into business performance.
    • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by maintaining robust financial data systems and controls.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

    Skills & Competencies Required:

    • Strong operational accounting background in a fast-paced, complex environment.
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently handle multiple tasks.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Outstanding customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to interact courteously and patiently in customer relations.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
    • High degree of dependability and reliability.
    • Clear and succinct communication skills, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with accounting principles under GAAP.
    • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
    • Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred but not required.
    • Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.

    • SAP Experience or ERP system experience
    • Experience in the construction or real estate industry.
