Summary

Handle multiple applications, systems, network, and/or telecommunications activities. Manage information systems throughout the organization. May include programming, analysis, networking, data processing, and/or administration responsibilities. Resolve technical problems. Research and recommend technology. Coordinate information system priorities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provides advanced support, customer training and escalation support for technical issues utilizing excellent enterprise knowledge and superior troubleshooting skills for all customers (internal and external) with advice, knowledge and information regarding the use of many software and hardware products.

Provides leadership and direction to junior information systems staff using complex technical knowledge and expertise to address and resolve organizational issues so that user needs are met.

Uses advanced tools, advanced knowledge and advanced experience to analyze, diagnose and resolve problems.

Assists Manager with strategic needs as they relate to the Support Operations environment, by maintaining current knowledge of technologies and identifying and recommending solutions in order to provide quality service & customer satisfaction.

Assists the Manager/Director with interviews, hiring, firing, training, identifying staffing requirements, yearly employee performance reviews, and reviewing daily time and attendance; assigns and monitors work, authorizes overtime using established policies and procedures to ensure completion of Support responsibilities.

Acts as knowledge author by composing new support documentation and evaluating and maintaining existing support documentation. Completes assigned goals.
