    DIRECTOR – DATA PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, TICKETMASTER CORE Location: Virginia, New York, Los Angeles, flexible for other US locations with travel (<15%) Division: Enterprise Products & Services Line Manager: VP of Product, TM Core Contract Terms: Full-Time THE TEAM Ticketmaster's Enterprise Products team is committed to delivering an industry-leading experience for users of our suite of enterprise B2B applications and for the developers that build them. The team designs and delivers a collection of shared components, services, and user experiences to ensure that Ticketmaster's powerful tools are easy to use, integrated, and provide a holistic toolset to empower a large variety of clients from venues and promoters to sports teams and touring artists. THE ROLE The Director - Product Management, TM Core will partner globally across the company to drive client and internal business value by defining strategies that improve the client and partner experience for accessing data and reports, and providing greater transparency on data availability for internal initiatives. Core products are at the center of Ticketmaster's global operations - powering ticketing sales and event entry across the globe. This leader will be instrumental in keeping our teams focused on delivering against our product strategy, while partnering with internal stakeholders to make data available in our enterprise data lake and to develop and manage migration strategies that will bring our clients meaningful reporting & analysis improvements. As a part of the Core leadership team, this role sits at the critical intersection of strategy and execution. This leader will be skilled at harmonizing data across multiple source systems, and managing a variety of engineering and product constituents in both data producer and data consumer contexts. In the near-term, one primary focus area for this role will be to partner with other leaders across the organization on a strategy to migrate components of legacy applications to more modern product offerings. Responsibilities
    • Lead a team of 1-2 product managers responsible for defining and driving our Data Producer strategy – including publishing data to persistent user environments and migrating datal, APIs, and reports from legacy to target environments
    • Serve as a face to the global enterprise in conversations about data availability and our modernization agenda
    • Drive product roadmap working with other data product managers, designers, engineering, and operational teams
    • Partner with other product and design leaders on market and user research, and to de-conflict roadmap dependencies
    • Create buy-in for strategies and roadmaps to deliver features and to deprecate existing components
    • Bring strategies to life through requirements and actionable roadmaps that align business, product, and organizational goals
    • Work with engineering to deliver against goals; scope and prioritize activities based on business impact
    • Gain a deep understanding of internal & industry products, identify & fill product gaps and generate new ideas that support the effectiveness of our growing product management community; mentor other Product Managers
    • Develop timelines, prioritize tasks, plan resources, identify risks and contingency plans
    • Utilize trends and knowledge of the competitive landscape to identify gaps in current products
    • Develop a sufficient understanding of technical context to help make better, faster decisions, and work closely with engineers on solutions
    Requirements
    • 8-10 years in a fast-paced technology company with experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management
    • Hands on experience working with modern lake-based data architectures, related data technologies, data management practices, and Producer/Consumer data governance frameworks
    • Experience working on data and/or report migration programs
    • Strong collaborator and communicator with executive presence and rigor for documentation
    • Experience within ticketing, live events, event management, or related industries a plus
    • Ability to think holistically and connect the dots between enterprise level tools and end user experiences
    • Experience working directly with engineering and design, utilizing agile frameworks (scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
    • Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects involving internal and external clients
    • Experience improving user experiences and advocating for change
    • Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams is highly desired
    • Some hands-on experience with basic programming languages and software engineering
