    What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
    • Manage the various pieces of equipment and systems which include troubleshooting, repair and in maintaining the flow of production according to safety, preventive, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
    • Facilitate a high level of teamwork, problem-solving skills, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities, along with outside of the box thinking. Your efforts and that of your team will allow you the ability to maximize the longevity of the machinery and the equipment's performance while focusing on cost savings initiatives.
    • Implement leading reliability excellence practices and raise the performance of the department by monitoring key performance indicators (i.e. equipment down time, operator safety indexes, etc.).
    • Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders scheduling while addressing corrective work order scheduling.
    • Reducing cost through total Preventive Maintenance methodologies & CMMS
    • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems.
    • This plant DOES NOT have air conditioning, it will get HOT in the summer.
    • You will be working in open spaces, climbing ladder, and accessing overhead catwalks -must be comfortable working work in high locations.
    What Is Required (Qualifications)
    • Bachelor Degree – in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical)
    • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Safety, and ISO programs along with basic understanding of pumps, conveyors, valves, PLC's, and variable frequency drives.
    • 10+ years related industry experience or an equivalent combination of education within a production/manufacturing environment.
    • This role has direct reports, requires pervious management experience.
    How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
    • Pervious chemical or food manufacturing experience.
    • Project development and Capital execution, plant project management experience.
    • Experience with condition-based maintenance and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
    Working knowledge of budgets, process reports, and other financial statements.
