    Description

    Amazon's Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead the operations and development of new supply chain strategy for Amazon Bulk Services, enabling a synchronized inventory flow, transportation, storage and fulfillment network, and the capacity and capabilities designed to facilitate them all.


    Amazon Bulk Services offer a unique way for Amazon to offer and fulfill products in varying sortability type and case-packing combinations.

    In this role, you will help develop a multi-pronged fulfillment network and implement new capabilities to unlock serviceable markets and expand inventory placement.

    You will design long-term strategies and capabilities to facilitate game-changing innovation, reduce capacity constraints across the core-network, unlock incremental profitability, and drive executive-level initiatives.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Propose, execute, monitor, and improve complex initiatives by working crossfunctionally across Capacity Planning, Science, Finance, and Tech.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve endtoend supply chain of Amazon Bulk Services; identify inefficiencies and deviations from strategy, analyze tradeoffs, recommend solves, and influence partner teams to execute.
    • Review and solve operational barriers with a focus on digesting root causes and driving forward opportunities
    • Develop and implement continuous improvement processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal operations and new programs
    • Leverage data to support the future state of the business. (Excel, SQL, Tableau or similar)
    About the team

    Supply Chain Innovation develops capabilities and business models that support Amazon's needs for cost-effective, scalable e-commerce supply chain solutions including storage, distribution, and customer fulfillment.

    You will be part of a high functioning team, responsible for delivering on strategic goals with direct impact for consumer businesses' profit and loss (P&L).

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of program or project management experience
    • 5+ years of supply chain experience
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
    • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
    • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
