    Position Summary:
    This is a great opportunity to work in our busy Cardiology Clinic as a Medical Scribe. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the cardiology department and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations along with providing outstanding customer service.


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Begins patient's notes prior to the office visit.
    • Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary technology.
    • Maintains patient records and other information as requested by the physician.
    • Records the office visits via electronic templates on behalf or physician.
    • Responsible for ensuring thoroughness of medical documentation.
    • Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive work environment.
    • Attends meetings as required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    High school graduate or equivalent is required. Strong interpersonal, communication, prioritization and organization skills. Must be a self-starter and willing to work as a team player. Must be able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Must be proficient on computers. Knowledge of ICD10 and PT preferred. A working knowledge of electronic medical records preferred. Knowledge or medical terminology preferred.


    • Must be able and willing to travel to different offices and to outreach locations. We have offices in Orem, Spanish Fork, Payson, Provo, American Fork, and Lehi.

    Also our outreach locations that include:
    Nephi, Mt. Pleasant, Richfield, Price, Huntington, Delta, Roosevelt and Heber.

    • Must be able to work

    Full Time Hours:
    Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm
