    Description

    Looking for a Multi-store Automotive Dealership Controller (New Car Store Controller)!

    The ideal candidate will provide hands-on accounting, leadership, and administrative support while developing and maintaining strong financial reporting controls. Acting as a trusted advisor and guardian of the automotive group's assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily accounting operations for multiple OEM dealerships to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions
    • Perform month-end closings and submit required OEM financial statements and management reports
    • Prepare, complete, and interpret dealer financial statements for management
    • Maintain effective cash management systems and keep stakeholders informed on accounting trends
    • Oversee accounting back office teams and collaborate with sales managers to improve revenue and reduce expenses
    • Ensure compliance with dealership group's policies and operational procedures

    Required Experience and Qualifications:

    • MUST have prior experience as an Automotive Dealership Group Controller
    • Thorough knowledge of preparing new car dealership OEM financial statements and proficiency in auto dealership management systems
    • Minimum 10 years as an Automotive Dealership Controller
    • Experience in leading accounting teams from high volume new car OEM automotive dealerships
    • Ability to multi-task and manage various levels of management
    • Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge of the automotive dealership industry
