    Description

    Job Title: Data Specialist

    This is a challenging role working in the Capital Program Funding Management department at MTA Headquarters. The position supports the Senior Manager and the grants management team on the management of federal grant funds, post-grant execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepares periodic federal funding updates to Grants Management for internal and external reporting.
    • Provides timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on the status of capital funds across capital programs.

    Deliverables:

    • Quarterly Hurricane Sandy insurance and federal drawdown reports.
    • Support documents required for federal grant linkages and budget revisions necessary to reprogram and maximize use of executed federal grant dollars.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, public policy, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of related experience.

    Salary Range: $64,677 - $72,000 per annum.
