    Description

    Job Title: Manufacturing Packaging Associate at USAntibiotics

    USAntibiotics, the sole U.S. producer of Amoxicillin items, is affiliated with the Jackson Healthcare family of organizations.     Engages in tasks related to the packaging of oral antibiotics, including inspection, sampling, assembly, equipment operation, and documentation.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operates machinery and equipment for various packaging operations like filling, labeling, wrapping, or sealing containers.
  • Conducts manual assembly tasks such as boxing, cartoning, and insertion.
  • Conducts visual inspections of materials, products, and containers throughout the packaging phase.
  • Identifies and disposes of defective materials or products.
  • Performs checks, weighing, and sample collections during the process as per SOP's.
  • Executes line cleanups and inspections post-batch completion.
  • Maintains production logbooks for equipment on assigned lines.
  • Contributes to a team-focused work environment and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Executes other tasks as delegated by the immediate supervisor.

    • REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to interpret specifications as per cGMP's and SOP's.
  • Manual dexterity is essential.
  • Willingness to work various shifts and overtime if needed.
  • Capability to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Successful completion of visual acuity test.
  • Proficiency in Lockout/Tagout procedures.

    • SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in identifying production line issues and proposing solutions to supervisors.
  • Capable of recognizing quality concerns during in-process inspections.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the line by working together as a team to meet production requirements.
  • Assists the Packaging Department in achieving daily production targets.
