    Strongpoint Partners, a leading tech-enabled financial services retirement platform backed by Shore Capital Partners (SCP), isseeking a highly motivated and ambitious Payroll Tax Specialist to join our growing Payroll Tax Compliance team.

    Utilize your payroll tax knowledge, your analytical skills and your passion for accuracy to provide exceptional service and be a trusted tax resource to our clients.

    This role fits best with individuals who are interested in continuous learning and being a part of a small, productive team.

    Strongpoint Partners provides third-party administration of retirement plans and outsourced HR and payroll solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.

    Strongpoint offers an integrated software platform for retirement planning and payroll, and is pursuing a growth strategy that includes add-on acquisitions and organic growth initiatives.

    Role & Responsibilities:


    Process tax checks, electronic deposits and monthly filingsCoordinate tax registrations with clientsProcess quarterly and annual payroll tax fillingsCommunicate with tax agencies to obtain information or resolve tax issuesRespond to client payroll tax questionsAssist with maintaining taxes in the payroll systemPreparing and filing amended tax returnsRequirementsTo be a successful team member you should have strong attention to detail, an inquisitive nature and an interest in payroll tax compliance.

    5-7 years of experience in payroll tax processing/similar positionRobust knowledge of federal and state withholding and unemployment taxesExceptional ability to identify and resolve inaccuraciesAbility to manage and prioritize large volume of tasksStrong work ethic with the ability to adapt to quarterly and year end work demandsPassionate about providing excellent client serviceAbility to work with a team and independentlyProfessional verbal and written communication skillsSolid computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems#li-remote
