We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse with clinical OB experience to join our medical team. The position offers a flexible and supportive environment where you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable pregnant women. The work is primarily based in our Whitmore Lake office with visits to South West Detroit twice a month for clinic sessions. There is also an opportunity for remote work once you are familiar with the job.

The Clinical Care Nurse will be responsible for direct patient care, including observing and interpreting patients' needs and symptoms and communicating them to the physician. Collaboration with Providers to coordinate clinical care and working with the Medical Director to create personalized care plans will be key responsibilities. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, overseeing primary and chronic illness care for patients will also be part of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and care for patients at our Detroit Clinic.
• Support patients and their families through diagnosis and treatment.
• Assess health history and maintain patient records.
• Refer patients to other healthcare providers or social service agencies as needed.
• Provide follow-up care for routine, chronic, and acute health issues.
• Order and interpret lab tests, provide patient education, and deliver primary and chronic illness care.
• Triage patient calls and educate them on procedures, testing, medications, and post-op care.

Administrative Duties:

• Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate clinic operations.
• Ensure adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor and document patient care plans and medications.
• Provide coverage for the Clinical Care Nurse Manager when needed.
• Build relationships with local hospitals and staff.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Current nursing license in Michigan.
• Knowledge of healthcare office practices and quality assurance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive information.
• Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in nursing.
• 5 years of experience in an OB clinical setting.
• 2 years of case management and triage experience.
