Description **Job Details****The Barback is responsible for supporting the bartenders by maintaining stock, changing kegs, collecting empty glassware, and ensuring a clean work station**

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

Serve as an assistant to all bartenders

Verify that the bar is constantly set up for success throughout the shift

Fill/refill all ice bins, juices, paper products, etc.

Restock all beers, wines and other liquors

Polish all cleaned glassware and then stocking the bar area with it

Keep bar dishwashing sinks filled with correct cleaning solution and levels

Test all juices and date

Maintain inventory of all liquor and alert a manager for re-ordering

Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling

Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials

Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Board of Health

Performs other related activities as assigned by management and senior bar staff

**Qualifications**

Deliver timely and courteous service to LDV Hospitality guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures

Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English

Must have basic math skills

Maintain friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times

Strong customer service background

Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations

Working knowledge of drink recipes and preparation

Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards

Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times

Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required

Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitalitys standards of service

Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies

Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by management

Adhere to all HR policies and procedures

**Education, Experience, Knowledge Requirements**

Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Barback in a similar caliber establishment

A high school education is required

**Physical/Special Requirements**

Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis

Ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day

Mobility and manual dexterity appropriate to staff in the Barback position

**Work Environment**

Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise and temperature extremes associated with that volume

Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress
