    Description

    Locations:
    Detroit Metropolitan Area and Chicago

    Concept Reply advises and supports their customers from Automotive, Manufacturing, Smart Infrastructure and other industries in all aspects related to Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Computing.

    They offer end-to-end solutions throughout the entire value chain: starting at the definition of an IoT strategy to advising of application possibilities up to the conceptualization and implementation of a concrete solution.

    Concept Reply designs and develops whole project plans as well as customized individual components and sections.
    Responsibilities

    Lead the planning and execution of migrating legacy systems to modern microservices architectures.
    Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability applications utilizing , Go, and React.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
    Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
    Assist in assessing application performance and optimizing scalability and speed.
    Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members.
    Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web development.
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
    5 years of experience as a software engineer.
    4 years of experience in C#, .Net or Java.
    Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
    4 years of experience with relational and nonrelational databases such as SQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
    Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, and web services.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Familiarity with Amazon AWS services (Ec2, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB).
    Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technologies.
    Operational knowledge of Git and experience with TDD and BDD methodologies.
    Ability to write tested and maintainable code.
    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a global team across different time zones to deliver high-quality software.
