    About the Role


    Summer student supporting the North American Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team.

    Your Responsibilities



    • Support processes and tasks as defined by the NA MES team including, but not limited to:o Program modifications

    o Report / dashboard / BI generation/modification

    o Reviewing and supporting existing MES support processes

    o Facilitate changes to collaboration sites

    • Take ownership of a designated project that explores and integrates new technologies into our MES solutions.

    o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

    o Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and the project stays on track.

    Who we are looking for



    • Previous instruction in IT related fields of application development, databases, and report building.

    • Basic understanding of programming languages and software development concepts.

    • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Good attitude and willingness to learn

    • Self motivated and good problem-solving skills

    Your preferred qualifications



    • High School Diploma

    • Currently Attending a College or University

    o 2+ year of College/University preferred

    • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Good Communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

    • Working knowledge or courses in programming / development

    • Working knowledge or courses in databases design and database concepts; e.g. Microsoft SQLServer

    • Working knowledge or courses in report creation/modification; e.g. Microsoft Reporting Services

    • Working knowledge or courses in collaboration tools; e.g. MS Teams or SharePoint


    • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.

    • Ability to spend longer amounts of time walking and standing in a manufacturing type of environment.
