Job Description

Title: Outpatient Therapist

Location: Danvers, MA

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

Requirements:

Masters in Mental Health Counseling, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or another related human services field
Prior experience in a substance abuse or behavioral healthcare setting is a preferred
Active Massachusetts license as a LADC-I, LADC-II, LCSA, or LMFT is preferred

About the role:

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience working as an outpatient therapist in a substance abuse or behavioral healthcare setting. Recent graduates with their Masters in Mental Health Counseling, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or another related human services field are also encouraged to apply.

Inspire, motivate, and facilitate clients recovery journey using evidence based and individual-centered methods
Lead group and individual therapy sessions (PHP, IOP, GOP)
Carry a caseload for individual therapy sessions
Evaluate mental and physical health, addiction severity, and/or problem behavior
Assess readiness for treatment and articulates clinical rationale for recommended level of care
Work with clients to develop realistic and time limited treatment goals
