Job summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily shift operations including selection shipping receiving and trailer loading operations reviews orders shipping or receiving notices to determine work sequences ensuring that priority loads are handled timely supervises daily activity of warehouse Team Members and Traffic Clerks resolves issues that arise when orders are being picked loaded or inbounded directs the Traffic Clerk regarding how the work is to be assigned for the operators and the schedule maintains performance records of assigned associates inspects and analyzes operations for risk immediately communicates findings assigns work monitors productivity to ensure high standards of quality accuracy housekeeping product damage minimization safety overall efficiency plans assignments coordinates monitors operations within the warehouse to ensure on time deliveries are achieved reducing irregularities damage promotes safety in work processes Team Member performance by supporting company facility safety programs educating Team Members ensuring a generally safe work environment enforces safety rules regulations ensures that all incidents are reported documented communicates policies safety regulations SOPs to operators Traffic Clerks monitors ensures compliance consistency takes corrective action necessary documents issue actions taken conducts shift change meetings completing roll call sheet noting absences completes Attendance Slips as necessary conducts shift turnover review with oncoming Supervisor completes Shift Change Sheet provide consistent information between shifts reviews shift change sheet previous shift communicates pertinent information at shift change meeting audits loads picked staged dock providing feedback operators other supervisors seals all outbound loads ensuring they loaded correct configuration well as correct trailer seal information ensures facility maintained clean orderly fashion audits Aisle proper documentation completion housekeeping works maintain high level of Team Member morale recognition trains coaches provides feedback warehouse Team Members factual data subjective observations resolves Team Member relations issues arise during shift investigates operational errors discrepancies determines cause counsels coaches operator resolution gives corrective action needed investigates any inventory issue holds missing products orders confers Inventory Team accuracy quality control issues reviews Forklift Operator QI issues communicated Inventory Team verifies resolution reviews ensures accuracy time records UltiPro approves time records informs Warehouse Senior Management operating issues problems makes recommendations corrective action ensure quality warehouse operations customer service prepares compiles submits reports work activities operations work related accidents drives vehicles operates machines equipment complete work assignments assist workers reliable attendance scheduled shifts performs duties conformance appropriate safety security standards performs duties assigned needed.
