We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant who wants to be part of a high-performance environment and play a critical role in helping patients recover, move better, and return to the activities they love.
This is not a passive role. You will be directly responsible for executing treatment plans, driving patient progress, and contributing to the overall success of the clinic.
What You'll Do
- Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise programs with proper form, progression, and safety
- Apply manual techniques and therapeutic interventions as directed
- Monitor patient response and communicate progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Build strong, trusting relationships with patients to support engagement and retention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Support clinic flow and contribute to a positive, efficient treatment environment
Who You Are
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (or eligible) in Connecticut
- Strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation and exercise principles
- High level of personal accountability and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive energy and strong work ethic
- Growth-oriented and receptive to feedback
- Takes pride in delivering excellent patient care
