Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you'll ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for service, supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools following health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and cleanup services
- Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic understanding of food handling safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and organization
- Experience with catering, banquet service, or hotel kitchens is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced environment
