    Description:


    •Duties include, but are not limited to:

    reviewing consent forms

    assisting the physician in completing examinations and procedures

    preparing surgical trays for procedures

    ensuring all medications are drawn up as needed

    providing wound care and suture removal instructions to patients

    providing patient education and administering medications as ordered

    ensuring patient follow-up phone calls are made regarding path/lab results and other necessary treatments

    documenting all laboratory or pathology results in patients' records

    cleaning medical instruments and equipment

    stocking exam rooms with supplies

    returning patient phone calls


    •Must comply with OSHA standards regarding PPE (gowns, gloves, safety goggles) when performing surgical procedures and other general patient care

    Skills:

    Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, surgery, dermatology

    Additional INformation:

    They are only open 7:30am - 5pm. Monday - Friday.

    Close at 4 on Fridays. NO major holidays or weekends. Must be available to work 7:15am -4:30pm.

    Scrubs - caribbean blue Monday-Thursday

    Any color on Friday

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Medical Assistant experience with derm would be ideal. Surgical experience would also help transition
