- Responsible for accurate and timely pre-analytical functions of specimen collection, labeling, receipt and processing.
- Completing and maintaining competency in specimen processing and packing, phlebotomy and client services.
- Assists in the pre-analytical and analytical phases of select testing.
- Upholds laboratory compliance and accreditation through adherence to established department policies and procedures, safety standards and infection control standards.
- Produce and reports accurate and reliable patient results
- Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
- High School Graduation or equivalent
- Completion of a formal Phlebotomy Training Program
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (MA-PA)
- Current BCLS certification
- Oral and written fluency in the English language.

What you get to do every day
This position is responsible for collection procedures, processing laboratory specimens and assisting technical staff with the testing of clinical waived and moderately complex laboratory testing. You will:
