- Bachelor's degree in Elementary education
- Gifted and Talented Endorsement or High Ability Licensure is highly preferred
- Demonstrated lead teaching experience in a team teaching environment
- Understanding of and ability to differentiate curriculum
- Proven experience with academically gifted students
- Ability to write and develop differentiated curriculum appropriate for gifted learners

Description
This is a full-time teaching position in one of our two first grade classrooms for the academic year. The two classrooms team teach, and this position would teach all of the language arts curriculum to all students in the grade level. In your role as lead teacher, you will be expected to work with your fellow colleagues to create an engaging and collaborative environment, embracing differentiation as well as age appropriate curriculum for our gifted learners.
Position type: Full time, exempt, 10 months
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
