    Job Description

    Senior Manager, Creative Operations

    Zendesk is looking for a seasoned creative operations professional to lead production and operations of its Creative Lab. This is a leadership role in which you will partner closely with the VP of Creative as part of Marketing Business Operations.

    The day-to-day:

    • Partner with the VP of Creative to develop roadmaps and OKRs that align the production team to key marketing priorities,
    • Oversee and manage the day to day operations of the creative team including resourcing, capacity, and budget
    • Maintain the creative roadmap, ensuring it is up to date and aligned with Marketing priorities on a weekly basis.
    • Lead the production team operations, mitigating roadblocks in daily work as a point of escalation, supporting growth of direct reports, including learning and development, training, offsites, and career mapping.
    • Own creative rhythms and processes, ensuring teams are aligned and connected to business goals in order to to build a healthy, thriving creative culture.
    • Manage external agency relationships and workflows to scale internal creative operations.

    You are a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience working in the creative process and leading a production team. You're confident navigating through ambiguity, able to keep teams focused by spotting challenges before they appear, proactively providing thoughtful solutions. You are a skilled relationship builder, fostering connections across marketing teams in order to uphold the brand, and promote Creative's work across the business.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 8+ years creative and marketing management experience with a working understanding of creative teams
    • Strong project management skills; program or process management certifications welcome
    • 3+ years leading a team including recruiting, coaching, and performance management
    • Skilled facilitator and proactive problem solver
    • Strong understanding of the creative process for all types and phases of projects

    The US annualized base salary range for this position is $142,000.00-$212, This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
