Capitol Dental seeks a full-time Expanded Practice Hygienist to work across various Gentle Dental offices and community partner sites within the scenic Columbia River Gorge area.

As an EPDH in this role, you will function as a primary care provider, delivering a wide array of services under the EPDH ambit. The EPDH will leverage teledentistry for consultations with dentists. We anticipate our ideal candidate to be highly enterprising and proactive, assuming responsibility for their schedule and patient roster to ensure seamless accessibility. This empowers both the EPDH and the dentist to practice at the pinnacle of their licensure.

Role Specifics:

• Schedule – Full-time role
• Engage with targeted populations for preventive care and guidance towards supplementary services
• Handle administrative duties like insurance validation and proficient utilization of dental and medical software, emails, Word, and Excel
• Undertake Marketing and Education endeavors by enlightening patients and colleagues on oral health importance and enrolling patients for dental services

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an Accredited Hygiene Technical School or College
• Hold a valid State Dental License (or have the ability to secure one prior to employment)
• Possess an Oregon EPDH license
• Additional certifications such as CPR and local certified anesthesia are advantageous
