    Bridge Engineer at Actalent in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description As the Lead Engineer of the Bridge Group you will be responsible for mentoring a group of engineers to execute a variety of projects across the state of Idaho.

    You will have complete quality control over projects and be involved in business development as well.

    This is a essential team member responsible for the planning, administration, and design of small, medium, and potentially large size structural projects.

    You will also be involve designing structural components, report writing, development of plans, specifications and estimates, quality control and assurance activities.

    • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering required.
    Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
    • Idaho Professional Engineer (PE) required or the ability to obtain through reciprocity; PE licenses in other states a plus.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing tasks, projects, and professional staff.
    • Familiarity with engineering software packages such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, and MathCAD a plus.
    - Experience developing bridge plans (coordinating markups with CADD technicians), assembling/ writing specifications, and developing quantities and cost estimates
