    Foundation & Donor Services Officer for an
    International Humanitarian Organization based in
    Manhattan, NYC (Sutton Place).

    This is a
    Full-Time, In-Person, Temporary-to-Hire opportunity.

    HOURLY RATE:
    $28.00- $30.00


    Is This Your Dream Job? The Foundations & Donor Services Office manages all aspects of identifying suitable funding/grant opportunities, implementing letters of inquiry, applications, reports, etc. This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate, with an anticipated salary of $75,000.


    Our Ideal Candidate:


    • 3+ years experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant prospecting
    • Proficient in Excel
    • Excellent communication & writing skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred


    How You Will Spend Your Day:



    • Responsible for the management of all required letters of Inquiry, applications, and reports as required by the respective foundations.
    • Manage relationships with current foundations, corporations, and donors in the range of $3,000.
    • Ensure accurate and detailed records as well as provide regular updates and progress reports on foundations and donor gifts initiatives and activities.
    • Responsible for all acknowledgment letters to major donors $5,000 and above and necessary information for the President to sign with a personal note.
    • Collaborate with Director on strategies that build pipelines for new prospects outside of the organization's existing donor pool.
    • Assist the development team when necessary, in the planning and implementation of friend raising and fundraising activities and events.
    • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
