This position reports directly to the Behavioral Health Nurse Manager.# Responsible for providing direct clinical services on the Behavioral Health Unit for both adolescents and adults.# The incumbent, under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist will be involved in the development and coordination of groups and activities.# Accountable for providing individual and group treatment based upon treatment plan and unit needs.# EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Associate#s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a college with an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.

EXPERIENCE Previous Behavioral Health experience working with adolescents, adults, geriatrics and substance abuse population in an acute care setting preferred.# # Completes all required documentation in a timely manner in accordance with ECHN Behavioral Health standards, policies and procedures as evidenced by chart review.

Provides education to inpatient staff as needed regarding interventions to improve patient functioning as evidenced by feedback from team and supervisor observations.

Actively participates and collaborates in team meetings, providing pertinent functional clinical information as needed for patient care as evidenced by enhanced patient planning and feedback received from the treatment team.
