DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping

REPORTS TO: Director of Housekeeping

SUMMARY:

Responsible to deliver all supplies to room attendants. Perform outstanding guest service on a daily basis. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication and interact daily with guests and resort staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Previous hotel or resort experience beneficial.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Be able to strip units of linens, trash, recycling
• Restocks all resort closets
• Reports to Expediter on busy check-in days to receive supply orders and/or delivery requests to room attendants in the field.
• Delivers guest requests to rooms
• Delivers used linens from units to laundry area.
• Assists in maintain housekeeping storerooms
• Washes walls and ceilings, moves and arranges furniture, turns mattresses, participates in all spring & fall cleaning.
• Assists with deep cleaning and shampooing of carpets; washes windows; sweeps outside of all units.
• Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.
• May Be asked to help with Public Areas

EXPECTATIONS:

The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these functions. Ruttger's further expects every employee to exhibit stellar guest service and a regular attendance record.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass Ruttger's background check.
• Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; climb up and down stairs; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to sixty (40) pounds.
• Valid Driver's License.
