We are seeking an energetic professional for our Senior Communications Coordinator position.

    Job Summary: The Senior Communication Coordinator position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a multi-faceted marketing program for CMHA's Housing Choice Voucher Program, and establishing and maintaining effective external and internal communications to enhance the understanding, perception, and image of the authority.

    Qualifications:
    • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English or a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education
    • Minimum of four (4)-years related experience working in an organization dealing with media issues and policy research
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise solid judgment, think critically, plan and execute tasks in a timely manner
    • Strong creative writing and presentation skills, including a creative approach for design and theme development
    • Ability to coordinate print projects with designers and printers; ability to multi-task in order to meet deadlines
    • Familiarity with Web site technology and digital photography
    • Knowledge of professional printing techniques
    • Extensive working knowledge of PowerPoint, PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Word and Excel
    • A valid drivers' license with no more than 6 accumulated points in 3 consecutive years.
