- Actively engage with suppliers and supply chains.
- Possess the ability to accurately assess supplier weaknesses and offer appropriate solutions.
- Monitor high-risk supplier development issues to proactively prevent potential crises.
- Drive and enhance supplier problem-solving techniques to address identified supplier faults effectively.
- Enhance and optimize supplier production systems and processes to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Promote supplier operational excellence within the organization.
- Establish clear priorities and goals to achieve objectives.
- Adhere to established processes, the Code of Conduct, and the company's defined practices.
- Act as a representative of the company at supplier sites and escalate issues when necessary to avert crises.
- A university degree is a prerequisite, with a preference for a major in engineering, business management, or supply chain management.
- Relevant experience in supply chain (quality and development) and/or production. Preferably, past experience in the automotive or heavy commercial truck industry, specifically in supplier quality and capacity, manufacturing engineering, supplier development, or crisis management.
- Proficient problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Strong accountability and adeptness in managing tasks with minimal supervision.
- THOROUGH knowledge of PPAP and APQP.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment.
- Ability to handle uncertainty and unexpected situations effectively.
- Proficiently tackle unfamiliar tasks, drawing upon previous experiences.
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks and workload, ensuring effectiveness.
- Exhibit a proactive approach with suppliers, emphasizing information, communication, and tangible results.
- Provide direct and actionable feedback.
- Exhibit a customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Provide timely and accurate information to support decision-making.
