    Description

    Engineering Team Lead

    Key Role

    Manage all aspects of product engineering activities, including hardware, software, automation, and IT. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Experience with developing and supporting an automation-first culture
    • Experience in full-stack development
    • Experience in Python programming languages, including the architecture and ecosystem
    • Experience in designing and implementing software architecture for complex systems
    • Knowledge of agile project management and managing multiple initiatives and scrum teams
    • Ability to manage software development projects down to the technical requirements
    • Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree
    • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification

    Additional Qualifications

    • Experience with developing enterprise solutions for the DoD
    • Knowledge of Cloud Security Best Practices
    • Possession of excellent organizational skills
    • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to lead technical teams and translate technical wins to product stakeholders
    • Scrum Master Certification

    Clearance

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
