- Analyze financial data, operational metrics, and market trends to identify insights, opportunities, and risks for the company.
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate strategies, initiatives, and projects to drive growth and profitability.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, marketing, and sales, to gather data, conduct analysis, and develop solutions to business challenges.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and other external communications related to corporate performance and strategy.
- Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning, as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in corporate analysis and business intelligence to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, business analysis, or related roles, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, interpret insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis techniques, with experience in Excel and financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of business strategy, corporate finance, and industry dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis principles, practices, and methodologies.

JOB PURPOSE
The Corporate Analyst at Transportation Insight is responsible for providing analytical support and insights to various corporate functions, including finance, operations, strategy, and business development. They play a critical role in analyzing data, preparing reports, and making recommendations to support decision-making and business performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Standard office environment, usually indoors away from the elements with moderate noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Maintain a stationary position for extended periods; move about the office, operate computers and files, as needed; and frequently communicate with others. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee is required to lift boxes up to 20 pounds.
SCHEDULING
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. An employee in this position must be available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings, during peak periods.
TRAVEL
Local travel is required. Out of state travel is limited, but may be required for special training/conferences.
