    Mental Health Technician at Zepf Center

    Zepf Center is a leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. The organization has been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years.

    This role involves working in a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) for individuals aged 18 or older. CSUs provide short-term, inpatient care to those experiencing mental health crises who require a safe environment but not as restrictive as hospitalization.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • In collaboration with Mental Health Professionals, gathering data to resolve crisis situations.
    • Providing outreach services, including crisis intervention.
    • Accompanying clinicians on pre-hospital screenings with clients in the community.
    The position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in mental health,valid Ohio driver's license,CPR/First Aid certification. Ability to cross-train in other crisis units is also beneficial.
