Sunbelt Staffing iscurrently seeking a Virtual Part-time Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for the upcoming 24-25 school year. The Sign Language Interpreter will be responsible for providing interpretation services for a middle school student during their classes. Please note that there will be an on-site aide available to assist with teletherapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for a middle school student during their classes
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure effective communication and accessibility for the student
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Attend virtual meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
• Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology for teletherapy sessions

Hours:

• Part-time position
• Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 12:00 pm daily
• Approximately 21 hours per week
