    Our Client in Northern Cincinnati is adding a Business Analyst to their team

    Business Systems Analyst

    This individual will work closely with Sales, Logistics and Operations teams to gather system needs and enhancements. The analyst needs to have an enterprise perspective, looking across all lines of business when developing solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The analyst will ensure requests are aligned to business goals, recommend smart approaches to gathering acceptance criteria and deliver features to improve the overall enterprise.

    The Business Systems Analyst will identify and assess potential "forward-thinking" solutions for both technical and business feasibility. The successful candidate will have used proven analysis processes to ensure an outcome-based solution is delivered for our organization, which includes proper problem identification, timely escalation and resolution, and thorough testing of software initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    · Documenting user stories and acceptance criteria for IT initiatives and maintain existing documentation

    · Create agile Epics and Stories with acceptance criteria and represent the requirements on behalf of the business to the IT scrum team

    · Perform and/or coordinate data validation, quality assurance (Q/A), user interface (UI) verification activities.

    · Effectively communicate to both IT resources and business resources, including leadership

    · Articulate quantitative metrics including ROI and payback to leadership to help understand the outcome

    · Understanding and obtaining business value of the request

    · Challenging the requests to ensure alignment to business outcomes and goals

    This position requires expertise in systems analysis, business process definition, process re-engineering and continuous improvement principles.

    Qualifications:

    · 5+ years in business systems analysis with experience in large scale and complex systems

    · Experience with multi-tiered architectures, including UI design, business rules layer, and basic data architecture

    · Ability to communicate and present technology concepts and solutions across all levels of the organization

    · Ability to identify risks throughout the project and providing mitigation strategy

    · Experience with Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Teams, JIRA, Confluence

    · A strong desire and hunger to learn the business processes and build strong relationships with our business teams with a high level of empathy

    · Drives analysis with business by documenting current and "future-state" processes

    · Develops business analysis deliverables, including but not limited to workflows and process models, business requirements, use cases, and business rules.

    · Demonstrates a working knowledge of agile methodologies as well as change management.

    · Develops requirements and testing specifications for moderate to complex system enhancements.

    · Ability to drive analysis needs to resolve day-to-day production issues in partnership with support organization

    Education/Experience:

    · BA/BS computer science, engineering or information services and equivalent technical training
