Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work with a physician or family nurse practitioner in daily care of primary care patients scheduled in the office.

Provide quality patient care and treatment.

Work under the direction of the physician or FNP in administering immunizations and other medications in the office.

Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment. Keep exam rooms clean and organized.

Communicate daily messages to patients as directed by the provider regarding medication changes, lab or medical imaging results, instructions for testing, etc...

Qualifications:

Previous nursing experience--medical office experience is preferred.

Ability to build rapport with patients and co-workers

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable utilizing computer and EMR for daily documentation

Cooperative attitude in working with other staff within the office
