    We are looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for managing customer related activities associated with major Aerospace Test Services Programs including order forcasting, obtaining RFQs, proposal strategies, developing and executing change orders, securing new orders and interfacing with customers.

    Responsibilities:

    Core Responsibilities Listed Below Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience.

    • Directly manage the designated core customer base from a retention and growth standpoint. Participate in the development of project proposals and spend the necessary time with customers to present and document the value that Calspan provides and identify new opportunities. Develop strong working relationships with internal and external business partners.
    • Manage program activities and scope in collaboration with Project Lead, and identify when additional scope would be beneficial to the customer. Execute change orders to support additional program activities.

    • Oversee program team to ensure program objectives (cost, schedule, quality and technical performance) are met by Project Leads to satisfy customer requirements, while managing risks and opportunities.
    Qualifications:

    Preferred Education / Experience:

    • Bachelors in related technical discipline
    • 7+ years in related discipline
    • Project Management Certification
    • Previous experience in engineering management or sales position
    • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

    Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

    • Thorough understanding of program phases and related analysis and reporting
    • Strong understanding of program financial analysis and reporting
    • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Experience and expertise in technical marketing and sales
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

    The salary range provided is a general guideline. Actual pay will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and other applicable qualifications. Calspan is committed to pay transparency in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

    Salary Range (min):
    USD $87,000.00/Yr.

    Salary Range (max):
    USD $145,000.00/Yr.
