    Mammography Technologist Job Description


    • Perform high-quality mammograms, bone density scans and ultrasound exams for physician's interpretation in a fast-paced outpatient ambulatory setting.

    • Support culture of safety with minimal supervision.

    • Accurately schedule exams and document events/occurrences in electronic medical records.
    • Educational Requirements:
    A graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. The candidate must also possess current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and certified in mammography; licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA);Basic Life Support certification.Currently only employees are eligible to work at University Medical Associates.
