We are committed to serving the community and treat our patients as family.Breast Imaging Specialists provide mammography screenings diagnostic and interventional procedures and patient care services at defined levels to patients. They explain the procedure to patients position and immobilize the patient's breast in the unit observe the scanning process monitor video display adjust density or contrast improve picture quality review evaluate film image recording plate determine images satisfactory diagnostic purposes use radiation safety measures protection devices comply government regulations ensure safety patients staff throughout whole process taking role have direct impact on patients providing good experience during exam.
- Review mammography/ultrasound requisition computer exam forms determine type exam required.
- Accurately position patients determine exposure factors operate mammography ultrasound equipment established procedures obtain high-quality image.
