    Regional Vice President, Northeast Region Independent Demand (RVP)

    The RVP, Independent Demand Sales is responsible for overseeing all personnel, strategy, revenue growth, and execution with regard to strategic demand-side relationships for the Northeast Independent Demand team, including independent advertising agencies and local/regional brands.

    In this role you will:

    • Act as a player/coach with a growing team of 4+ sellers to drive revenue and professional growth across the team
    • Carry a strategic book of business where a senior point of contact is a must to drive growth
    • Act as a catalyst, incubating revenue engagements for growth and handoff to the team
    • Build, manage, and understand high level relationships with strategic buyers across the video ecosystem- both managed service/direct IO and programmatic buyer types
    • Communicate and collaborate closely with VP of Independent Demand and other Demand Facilitation leaders on strategy and execution
    • Build responsive new products and solutions, business workflows and communicate processes/best practices to the broader organization
    • Assist team in structuring unique, customized, and often complex plans for high profile buyers
    • Evaluate the rapidly evolving ad tech ecosystem for new ideas/opportunities to guide the team's business strategy and growth
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
    • Directly supervise 4+ employees within the Independent Demand team
    • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
    • Interview, hire, and train new employees; plan, assign, and direct work across the team; appraise, reward and manage performance; address issues and resolve problems
    • Amount of travel time required: 25-35%

    We're looking for someone with:

    • Computer skills required: Google Slides/MSFT Office suite, Salesforce, Tableau
    • Other skills required:
      • 6-9 years of digital ad sales experience with a demonstrated record of success
      • 3-4 years of management experience with a demonstrated record of success
      • An experienced sales leader who can leverage their existing contacts with independent digital agencies to build a large book of business and help the team develop a strong pipeline
      • High level of integrity, excellent presentation, organizational & communication skills
      • A proven track record delivering on and exceeding revenue goals from multiple accounts
      • Hands-on approach to tackling tactical/strategic work
      • Knowledge of linear TV, managed service buying, programmatic buying and video adtech
      • Collaborative, team player
      • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative is a must
    • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university preferred, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $225,000 - $250,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
