- Read blueprints and/or engineering specifications to obtain information such as specified material, electrical, cosmetic requirements, and workmanship instructions, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
- Perform inspection on electrical or electronic components by using electrical meters.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as smart tweezers and calipers and pin gauges to determine adherence to electrical and dimensional specifications on first articles, in-process inspections, and production runs.
- Input data into Statistical Process Control (SPC) data base and evaluate.
- Perform and record results of first article inspections of boards after SMT.
- Verify completeness of documentation as required per work order traveler and internal procedures.
- Use computer to review various types of documents and navigate within internal system.

- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and PCB gerbers.
