- Ensuring the Engineering organization's performance aligns with the established scope of work, and overseeing the development, maintenance, and execution of project/task technical work scopes within budget and schedule.
- Approving all design deliverables, ensuring incorporation of technical input requirements, and conducting reviews for constructability, acceptability, operability, maintainability, safety, etc.
- Applying extensive technical expertise and a deep understanding of related engineering systems, calculations, construction methods, materials, and engineering applications of computers.
- Coordinating engineering teams, collaborating with stakeholders to outline project requirements, and developing scopes of work, project schedules, and budgets.
- Proficiently using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Conducting formal presentations to plant personnel and other stakeholders.
- Reviewing projects for technical accuracy and presenting information clearly through both oral and written communication
- Essential physical and cognitive capabilities, including the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, squat, perform elevated work, work in temperature extremes, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, comprehension, communication, prioritization, teamwork, and negotiation.
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program.
- A Professional Engineering License (PE) is preferred but not required.
- Typical experience ranging from five to twenty-plus years
