- Utilize various laboratory techniques, such as mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and/or biostatistical analysis
- Procure, organize, and manage lab reagent stocks
- Aid in the organization and testing of samples
- Assist in overseeing the shipping and receiving of outsourced samples
- Conduct hands-on laboratory procedures related to viral vector production and characterization
- Maintain accurate cGMP documentation of processing activities
- Carry out routine lab maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment
- Provide training to new staff members and fellow hourly employees on designated processes
- Adhere to established policies, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines
- Actively participate in the establishment and revision of SOPs in collaboration with supervisors and Quality Assurance
- Engage in method qualification and validation activities
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- Proficiency in computer usage, along with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with various laboratory techniques, such as cell culture, cell-based assays, qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and/or biostatistical analysis
- Regularly work in a BSL 2 environment with personal protective equipment and aseptic gowning
- Exposure to large machinery and typical utilities found in pharmaceutical facilities
