    We are currently seeking a high-performing Supply Chain Manager who will oversee all procurement, inventory and material handling, and ERP materials management.

    This individual will manage our Warehouse Manager, Production Planner, and Company Buyers.

    This individual will also work with the Project Manager and Buyers to ensure on-time delivery of materials for customer's projects as well as work with the ERP programmer and ERP users.

    The Supply Chain Manager along with the CFO will help guide the maintenance of the ERP system to meet LACO's ongoing needs and the improvement of ERP processes.

    Additionally, this person will work closely with our engineering teams to identify new vendors.

    This individual will lead continuous improvement for materials management, and inventory control and establish yearly goals and objectives for the department.


    RequirementsEssential Duties and Job Responsibilities Procurement:
    Oversee and backup divisional buyers with day-to-day purchasing duties as needed. Negotiate contracts with strategic suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.

    Work on cost reductions, supplier reviews with scorecards, supplier rationalization, supplier development, lead-time reduction, consignment, long-term agreements, Blanket PO's, and Terms & Conditions.

    Strong knowledge of metal procurement and metal machining services. Understanding of import/export logistics.
    Ability to strengthen current vendor relationships and development of new sources.


    Inventory & Material Handling :
    Manage and work daily with warehouse manager regarding inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage and handling.
    Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and transportation charges.

    Work with CFO to performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect the accurate value of inventoryEstablishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory with Warehouse ManagerMonitor inventory adjustments and conduct cycle counting ERP Management: Develop ERP objectives in alignment with overall company objectives, meeting current and business needsIdentify, recommend, implement, and support ERP solutions.

    Work with in-house ERP software programmers, engineers, and managers towards efficient solutions. Experience & Education Requirements BA or advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics, or other business-related disciplines.
    Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, or other related certifications are preferred. Min 5 years in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Materials Management or related field required.
    Experience with ERP systems.
    APICS certification a plus Experienced with lean manufacturing principles and six sigma training preferred.
    Strong software skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.


    Job Details Schedule:
    Monday
    • Friday with flexible time schedules with options for working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
    Salaried Position
    • Approximately $95,000 $100,000 per year depending on experience.
