We are partnering with a rapidly growing company in the Twin Cities to help them identify a Pricing Analyst to join their team.
This individual partners closely with sales, operations, finance, and business leadership to translate cost inputs, market dynamics, and customer insights into actionable pricing decisions.
Responsibilities
Analyze market trends, customer demand patterns, and competitive pricing landscapes
Develop and maintain pricing models to support profitability across products and service offerings
Evaluate the financial impact of cost fluctuations, including raw materials and globally sourced inputs
Use quantitative methods to forecast the impact of pricing adjustments on revenue, margin, and volume
Partner with commercial teams to structure deal pricing, evaluate discounting strategies, and support customer-specific pricing scenarios
Collaborate with finance to model pricing scenarios and assess impact on forecasts and margin performance
Monitor margin trends and pricing performance to identify risks and opportunities
Recommend pricing adjustments based on cost changes, market conditions, and strategic priorities
Support the development and enforcement of pricing governance and approval processes
Partner with systems and analytics teams to define requirements for pricing tools, reporting enhancements, and data integrations
Prepare dashboards, financial models, and executive-ready presentations to communicate pricing insights
Present analytical findings to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Desired Skills And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business-related field
2–4+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, cost analysis, or related analytical roles
Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial modeling and large dataset analysis
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar platforms) preferred
Strong analytical and quantitative skillset with experience conducting break-even and sensitivity analyses
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement
