Experience:

extremely good at math, contract costing, expert Excel skills or expert MS Access, compensation or labor relations experience would be nice but not required.

Will be building out large complex interconnected spreadsheets or databases to automate labor costing for 'what if' scenarios. Determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods. Provides cost analysis results to assist management in decision making or other financial initiatives. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly. Performs variance analysis between actual and standard costs. Monitors, analyzes, and reports on inventory valuation, production, and various other costs. Generates reports by analyzing the costs and resources, and helps determine actionable projects based on the reports. Responsible for identifying existing trends and monitoring changes over time.
