About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineer to drive shopfloor process improvements in an assembly-based manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on time studies, line balancing, value stream mapping, and Lean implementation to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.

You will analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks and waste, develop standard work, and support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrate strong hands-on shopfloor presence and engagement with production teams
Apply Lean principles to identify and implement practical process improvements
Conduct accurate time studies, line balancing, and VSM analysis
Drive measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency
Perform structured root cause analysis and support corrective actions
Develop and maintain clear standard work documentation
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams
Deliver improvement roadmaps with clear priorities and timelines
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture

What is needed

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Strong shopfloor manufacturing experience (assembly environment preferred)
Hands-on experience with Time Studies, Line Balancing, and Elemental Breakdown
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
Experience developing Current & Future State Value Stream Maps (VSM)
Ability to perform VA/NVA analysis, capacity analysis, and Muri assessment
Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Experience creating Standard Work Instructions (including video documentation preferred)
Exposure to onsite–offshore coordination
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
GC or U.S. Citizen (as required)

Experience

3–7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing/assembly environment
Strong hands-on shopfloor experience supporting production operations
Proven experience conducting Time Studies, Line Balancing, and Work Measurement
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Hands-on experience with Value Stream Mapping (Current & Future State)
Experience performing root cause analysis and supporting corrective actions
Experience developing Standard Work and process documentation
Prior exposure to onsite–offshore coordination preferred
Experience in high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing environments is a plus
