    Description
    MAIN FUNCTION

    Administratively runs the Compliance, Ethics and WPV Committees, conducts privacy investigations, admin for PolicyTech, Symplr and K Checks, assists with risk management including providing administrative support with regard to claims and lawsuits. Provides admin support for insurance programs, administratively supports the VP and General Counsel, including scheduling meetings, handling office management task.

    REQUIRED JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
    • Demonstrated skill and knowledge of technical programs, including all Microsoft office products.
    • Previous experience and demonstrated competency in effectively managing policy and procedure database (Policy Manager), or ability to learn.
    • Previous experience and demonstrated competency in effectively managing MediRegs/Comply-Track, or ability to learn.
    • Previous experience and demonstrated competency in effectively managing Kchecks, excluded provider database, or ability to learn.
    • Previous experience and demonstrated competency in management of insurance processes and compliance.
    • Previous experience in assisting with legal and risk management matters, including, handling subpoenas, document collection, witness location, and claim/incident investigation, reporting and tracking.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, have good judgment and prioritize assignments.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.
    • Ability to function as a member of large and small teams.
    • Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including, but not limited to, patients, staff and the health system.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Preferred: Insurance certification or paralegal; Notary Public.
    EDUCATION
    • Required: Associate degree
    EXPERIENCE
    • Required: 5-8 years in legal, compliance, insurance or hospital/healthcare executive environment
    • Preferred: 10 years direct experience in legal, compliance and/or insurance field.
    Pay Range: $ $34.00 per hour
