Supervisor: Director of Student Services
Primary Responsibilities: The nurse identifies and treats health disorders among students and provides instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention.
Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree with a Registered Nurse License, knowledge of medical disorders and treatment, knowledge of child growth and development, working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies.
Terms of Employment: Employed for a ten-month period as a support staff member with salary and benefits to be set by the superintendent and Board of Education.
