    Must-haves
    Bachelor's degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer (PE) registration
    5+ years of dedicated energy management experience
    Knowledge of federal energy requirements and programs and project lifecycle (preferred experience supporting Army or Navy)
    Current Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or ability to obtain CEM certification within 12 months
    US Citizenship is required with ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance

    Day-to-Day
    A Small Business is hiring a Project Developer/Resource Energy Manager (REM) to support multiple government contracts. Work will begin onsite, with potential for remote after (~1-3 months) in Huntsville AL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity budgeted $45-51/hr W2.


    Candidates should have experience implementing cost-effective energy and water management practices to enhance energy security, independence, and sustainability as mandated by legislation and various Executive Orders.

    This work will support multiple DoD installations and facilities.

    The candidate will work with the customer to achieve robust energy management programs, initiatives, and projects to meet energy laws, regulations, policies, directives, and goals.

    Energy support services include assistance with Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects, Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) projects, Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC) projects, Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) projects, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) projects, Renewable Energy projects and other energy projects.

    The candidate will support demand reduction for energy and water through education, conservation, and efficiency initiatives and projects that optimize the use of utility resources, including natural gas, electricity, solar, geothermal, water, wastewater, wind, and other energy/utilities.

    The candidate will also assist with energy and water planning, including development of Installation Energy and Water Plans (IEWPs).


    In support of these requirements, the candidate will provide project management, engineering, technical knowledge, and analysis of energy management applications, databases, and systems, as well as high-level functional support for evaluation and implementation advice on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy resilience projects.
